I’m Abby - owner & baker of The Shameless Chef LLC. Thanks for stopping by!

I am an accountant by day turned baker for all other hours of the day. After being in the Corporate world for a few years I realized I was in need of a creative outlet. I decided to fulfill my dream of attending culinary school, graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City having completed the Culinary Arts program. I spent a brief period of time working on the New York City restaurant scene with Crafted Hospitality and other prominent restauranteurs.

However, it wasn’t until Covid hit in 2020 that I really decided to start on my baking journey. As a way to stay sane, I used the time to work on my cake skills. What started as a project to keep my sanity and improve my skills quickly turned into so much more. The number of cakes and baked goods turned out of this kitchen for neighbors, friends and Instagram content grew quickly. Since the start of this journey I have checked the box on graduation cakes, baby & wedding shower cakes, birthday cakes, donated baked goods and wedding cakes - including my own! It has been a whirlwind - but one that I wouldn’t change for the world. I’m grateful for the opportunity to provide cakes and baked goods to make events special and memorable - it is a privilege knowing I’ve been a part of such important milestones for so many people.
